Very action packed, this episode was. Compared with a few past episodes, pretty much every important character appeared in this episode (C.C. appeared as well in all her charm).

Of course as you may have assumed it was Rolo that killed Shirley in the past episode. Shirley is indeed dead (this does not mean she will not appear in the series anymore).

Poor Lelouch was devastated, yet he still had some strength to appeal to Rolo telling him “well done”. Too bad they never showed Lulu’s mind, how he would kill Rolo (I tried to picture: Lulu says, “Rolo…” and stabs him with a knife calmly).

However they way Rolo killed her, (shoots herself in the body aka suicide) gave massive suspicions to Suzaku that Lelouch may have done that (obviously there is no way her character would have committed suicide, everyone knows how cute she is).

As much as I hated that Shirley died, I belive that to make this story deep, Sunrise did it correctly (Aeris anyone?)

C.C lol. Finally after a few episodes in absence she’s BACK (few episodes looked like half the season to me). Lulu explains her new strategies. He wants her help to erase the order (Geass research).

Of course Sunrise likes to tease us by never letting us hear about this pact with Lulu has with C.C.

Lulu contacts V.V., bottom comments nicely summarize their speech

(I’ll destroy you and the Order)

(I’ll remain calm as usual, because I’m immortal)

Diethard suspects Ohgi of acting strange, and maybe on the enemies side. (probably a subplot here.)

(Obviously something is up between them, that we have not been showed yet. I repeat perhaps another plot twist could occur and Ohgi COULD CHAHGE SIDES)

As Armageddon rages in that mountain where the Order is hidden, someone encounters children. (sooooo cute)

(cuuuuuuute)

(actually I kill)

V.V then appears in his calm self inside the Siegfried, believing that he will poon everyone insight.

(I’m still calm, I’m always calm)

For the next seven minutes we see the action between V.V. calm self, Zero and the rest of black knights fighting him.

Then finally something good happens: D. Cornelia does this for Euphy and Lulu for Shirley.

(Lulu: I win)

(Now something amazing is going to happen)

(I’m not calm anymore and it looks like I’m about to cry. <<< OWNED)

However Charles is not happy to that fact, that V.V. had someone assassinate Lulu and he lied about it. It is hinted that the bond between Charles and V.V. may fall apart. As Charles does not come rushing to his side and keep repeating that he lied. Generally V.V. is approached by Charles in a “disappointed” mood.

Some magic force then drags Lulu to the Swords of Akasha with Charles standing at the top of the staircase.

My final note is that I believe that Geass is coming to the end, with probably 4 episodes to go. Where they will finally explain everything we wanted to know.

The preview to the next episode didn’t show me much, and I think it was just a psychological thing happening in his mind (room with all the paintings).

This has been the best episode in the season with everyone getting some action and some hints that this season will probably come to the conclusion soon.

P.S. ending sounds similar to Shigofumi…. wtf.
